~Maria Brown-Rice ~~ SL: Pet Karu~

I am a degreed counselor: certified in Family Matters, Women’s issues, and Sexual Addictions. I have a heart for the broken and a bused. If you are suffering from an online relationship breakdown, I’m a great listener. I have worked with ladies released from prison and substance abuse for 5 years.

My motto, restore the castaway, repair the broken, and give someone a soft place to land when their world is crashing around them. If you could use my services, send me a note and I’ll reply in 24 hours or less. You can learn more about Pet here at the [site].

~Shonell Bacon ~~ SL: Shon Charisma~

ISL, Shon Charisma is a writer for two publications, an editor, a machinimatographer intern, and a member of Unity Productions. She is also a mother to many and a BFF. One of Shon's favorite things to do, after writing, is dance, and if you see her standing longer than10, 15 minutes, you can bet she'll break out in dance for no reason except she has to. She's thankful for being a part of UP because all the members have the dance spirit, too, which means at any moment, the group can break into full, all night praise dancing. You can learn more about Shon at her [blog] and on [Facebook]. IRL, Shon’s alter ego, Shonell Bacon, is an author, doctoral candidate, editor, and educator.

~Levi Soulstar~

Born and raised a WY Ranchers, Daughter! Been up close and personal to God's beautiful creation much of my life...Big beautiful WY! The country life and ways are a huge part of who and what I am. Raised with only brothers, so I might lack a bit of the Girly Girl, but don't think there is much wrong with that either. The boys seem to have better toys to play with, like Airplanes, motorcycles , and such!

Have a bit of an artist in me. Though I dont know how to get color to cooperate, I don't too badly with pencil. I draw from the heart and allow God to help me create. My best work has come to be in the back pew of my church--inspired by the messages of the day!

~Guyguy Lemon~

What can one say. I hit the bottom after I had taken too many drugs. Even before I did drugs, there were many problems: abusive mom and a dad that was always out drinking, never coming home on weekends. It was very hard for me to understand why. When I hit the bottom, and after eight years of memory loss, I sought out the Lord God. As time went by, my memory started to come back. I thank the Lord for allowing me another chance. As the years went by, I got closer to the Lord. I eventually got my ordained minister degree along with doctorate degree in theology. I thank the Lord for my life and all of my brothers and sisters in the Lord. Life still has it challenges from time to time, but with the Lord by my side, life has become much easier.

~Ewan Glenelg~

Where else but in California can a Pennsylvania boy meet an Ohio girl (named Arizona) and fall in love? In RL, we’ll be celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary on November 7th, 2010. AZ (Ay-zee) and I are active at our Foursquare church: both on the worship team, AZ does the weekly church bulletins as well as other print and web design for the church, and I lead bible studies and am active in Men’s ministries.

My lifetime aspiration was to be a writer. When I was young, I wrote an adaption of CS Lewis’ Screwtape Letters as a Civil War era melodrama musical as well as a stage adaption of the booth of Ruth. In college and university I studied technical theater and did behind-the-scenes work as well as performed on stage, including community theater.

When I found out that my dear sister pet Karu had the calling to form a faith-based theatrical group in Second Life, I was thrilled to find out more. I was amazed by Come Away, My Beloved – musical theater in a virtual world, what a concept! But wait, there’s more! There’s so much more to Unity than just a theatrical troupe. This is a family dedicated to sharing the love of God with the Second Life community and helping one another grow. Thank you, Lord. A one-time Second Life pastor, God is calling me back to share His word in amazing new ways as well as He’s using Unity to encourage me to preach again.

You can check out our RL church at the following website, and here's the link to my RL Facebook!

~Liliana Dinzeo~

I accepted Jesus as my personal Savior at 13, but came to live for Him just recently.  In 2008, I was diagnosed with cancer.  The treatment was relatively easy – the doctor was amazed at how well I did.  I told him it was because of the prayer I was getting.  He said that he wished someone would pray for his other patients.  This was when I knew God had a job for me.  I said “I will” and started an Oncology Prayer Ministry.  The doctor now says he believes in the power of prayer and tells everyone why his patients are doing better than other patients with the same treatment.  The doctor has allowed my prayer team to pray in the office.  The staff adds names to our list and thanks us for our ministry. I never realized the rewards you get through following the Lord, until now.  I can truly say that cancer was a blessing to me, it brought me into a closer walk with God and gave me a mission.  God can turn anything, including the hardest fight of your life, into glory for Him.  Knowing that God is in control is life changing!

Joining UP has been another step to deepen my relationship with the Lord.  I want to share God’s love with others and UP has given me a place and way to do that.  The UP family has been supportive and loving, another blessing from the Lord.  All Praise and Glory to our Father!
