Vision Statement

Through Unity Productions (UP), we envision to bring the word of God alive through skits, full-length staged productions, song, dance, and music, to fulfill the commission of Christ, “to go ye…”

The vision began on Second Life as a band of prayer warriors and God-filled men and women pulled together their talents and resources and put together the first biblical production, “Come Away My Beloved,” the musical rendition of the Song of Solomon. In the process of developing and performing the musical, Unity Productions cultivated a following of people who were ready to experience God and His word on a whole other level.

With the success of “Come Away My Beloved,” Unity Productions Founder, Executive Director and Producer, Pastor Pet Karu saw a future for this endeavor, as did the initial group of visionaries, PsyLynn Quartz, administrative manager, Audio-Tech and custom designer;  guru, Pastor Lukes Lionheart, scripter and builder; Shon Charisma, marketing manager and public relations; Prayer Warriors, Minister Guyguy Lemon, Levi Soulstar, and Jewel Lordhunter.  We’ve recently expanded our base to include 2 new members, Pastor Ewan Glenelg and Liliana Dinzeo, and others have taken part in UP’s success as well.

Unity Productions’ next project, “The Creation Story” went far and beyond the scope of UP’s initial production as it was, in a word, spectacular.  We presented the creation story from an angel’s perspective, adapted from Gene Edwards’ books.  It was a fresh view from unseen creatures who contributed at large to our seen reality.

And this is only the beginning as Unity Productions works to build bridges and literally facilitate unity among all faith groups within SL.  We hope to create opportunities, events and presence which will bring the inter-faith community together, by focusing on what we have in common as opposed to our diversity.  That may take the form of sit-down chats, interviews, and broad-banded media exchange in a routine newsletter. Right now, with the talent within this group, the sky is the limit of what we are capable of bringing to SL.  We desire to feature original songs for our stage performances as well as scripts written by the cast and crew.

We even looking forward to opening up opportunity via workshops for novice and aspiring artists within SL.  However, UP does not start and stop in the virtual arena.  UP is branching out into first life, by establishing itself as a real non-profit entity.

UNITY Productions is greater than a dance troupe flipping animations.  We are a team unified under common purpose, driven by love and compelled to inform the world that God loves them.
